Field Test
There is no ASME standard for davit cranes. OZ Lifting Products® Aluma-Lite® Davit Cranes have a
minimum 2.7:1 design factor. We load test and certify our davit cranes to 125% of the rated capacity. A test
certificate is generated that includes the serial number.
If a load test is required on site, we recommend contacting a civil engineer to determine if the base has
been properly mounted to a secure location. We provide the information on the moment a base would pull
away from the mounting bolts.
