8.- The pre-established values for the programmes above can be modified using the increase
and decrease time and temperature buttons. Adjust the values depending on the size and
amount of the food that is going to be cooked.
NOTE:
The new values will not be saved in memory. Every time the fryer is turned on
the default values for the programmes will be the ones that appear in the table above.
9.- When the values shown on the display are the ones needed for cooking push the
START/PAUSE (l) button to make the appliance start with preheating
WARNING:
If the pan has not been installed correctly, or if the pan is removed while
cooking, the fryer will stop cooking. The fryer will start after the pan is reinstalled correctly.
10.- All the functions have a preheating time so cooking starts at the temperature selected.
The display will flash and the heating indicator (i) will stay lit during preheating.
11.- The preheating time will be done when the display stops flashing. Take the pan out of the
fryer and put the food in the inner basket. Do not fill the basket above the MAX level.
WARNING:
Never put food directly in the outer pan.
12.- Put the outer pan into the fryer. The fryer will start cooking at that time and the display will
show the countdown for the time that has been set.
NOTE:
The heating indicator will remain lit as long as the heating element is turned on
for the entire time the fryer is cooking.
13.- Some functions recommend stirring the food half way through cooking to make sure all the
ingredients are cooked properly. In that case, the SHAKE indicator on the control panel will
light up and the fryer will beep for 30 seconds.. Follow the instructions
below to stir the ingredients when the indicator lights up or when you think it's appropriate.
a.- Push the START/PAUSE button to stop the appliance. Take the pan out of the
fryer. Stir the food. Put the pan back in the fryer and push the START/PAUSE
button to continue cooking.
b.- Take the pan out of the fryer. Cooking will now stop.
Stir the food and put the pan back inside the fryer to continue cooking.
The SHAKE indicator will turn off when the pan has been put back in.
WARNING:
use the handle (6) to move the pan.
14.- When the cooking time has finished the fryer will beep three times and stop cooking.
NOTE:
If no button has been pushed for two minutes the display will show the default
values again.
15.- Remove the pan from the fryer and put it on a surface suitable for hot items.
Do not touch the outside of the pan because it will be very hot,
