Chamfering edges
The front part of the base plate has a V-groove that allows for
chamfering edges.
1. Select the desired cutting depth on the knob (6);
2. Position the V-groove on the edge that you want to chamfer;
3. Press the lock-on button (8) and the "ON/OFF" switch (7)
simultaneously;
If you do not press the lock-on button, the "ON/OFF" switch
remains locked.
4. Let the blade reach maximum speed;
5. Push the planer towards the workpiece continuously;
6. To switch off the planer lift it off from the workpiece surface
and release the "ON/OFF" switch.
Before chamfering the edge of the workpiece, carry out
a depth test on the edge of a piece of wood.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Before
performing
cleaning,
maintenance work, switch the appliance off and unplug the
power cord. Wait for the blade to stop completely.
The electric planer does not require any additional lubrication
or maintenance. However, you must perform regular cleaning
for a continuous and trouble-free operation.
Always keep blades clean and sharp. Properly cared blades jam
less frequently, are more easily controlled, and allow greater
efficiency during operation of the appliance.
Keep the roller and blade clean to ensure accurate cutting.

Replacing the carbon brushes
The motor will not start if the carbon brushes are worn out. The
brushes must be replaced in time, otherwise there will be poor
contact between the brushes and the rotor, which may lead to
sparks and damage to the power tool. The two brushes should
be replaced at the same time by two brushes with equal
characteristics.
1. Loosen the screws and remove the carbon brush cap (13);
2. Disconnect the terminals and remove the worn-out brushes;
3. Place the new carbon brushes and connect the terminals;
4. Fit the carbon brushes cap and tighten the fixing screws.
Cleaning the dust and shavings collection bag
Always ensure that the appliance is switched off and the power
cord is disconnected before removing the dust and shavings
collection bag.
1. Remove the collection bag;
2. Empty the bag. Shake it to shake off dust and other debris;
3. Put it back on the planer.
Wear a dust mask and protective goggles when emptying
the collection bag.
Sharpening the blades
The blades can be sharpened on a bench grinder or a sharpening
stone. If there is too much unevenness or wear, you should use
a bench grinder before you use a sharpening stone.
1. Place the sharpening stone for 2 or 3 minutes before
sharpening the blades;
2. Sharpen the blades on a bench grinder with a fine grit
grinding wheel;
3. After sharpening the blade on the grinding wheel, use the
sharpening blade to achieve a finer finish and edge.
Ensure that the blades, at the end of the sharpening
operation, have the same length and angle.
