• In the event of battery leakage, remove the batteries from the product immediately to avoid
damage.
• If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and areas with mucous membranes. Should
there be such contact, rinse the affected area with water and seek medical attention
immediately.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Seek medical attention immediately in the event of
a swallowed battery!
• Only use the type of battery specified.
• Make sure you insert the batteries the right way round, i.e. with correct polarity. This is shown
in the battery compartment.
3.0 PROPER USE
The heater is only designed for heating air indoors. The heater is freestanding. In line with the
German Renewable Energy Act, this product is intended for well-insulated rooms and for
occasional use only. The heater must not be used in damp rooms.
Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by improper use. Any modification to the product can have a negative impact on
safety and cause hazards, and will invalidate the warranty.
Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.
4.0 UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the box and remove the product.
After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent
complaints cannot be accepted.
Ensure that the heating elements and other parts of the heater are free from any leftover
packaging and that they are clean.
5.0 USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
WARNING! The unit may only be put into operation when it is completely assembled. The support
feet must be mounted! Fire hazard! Thermal cut-out to protect against overheating.
Select a suitable location. Observe the safety information listed above.
Before plugging in the mains plug, make sure that the power supply matches the specifications
on the heater's rating plate.
Note: When the heater is switched on for the first time or if it is being switched on after a long
period of not being in use, it is normal for the heater to omit a certain amount of odour. This smell
will disappear when the heater has been in operation for a short time.
It is common for the heater to make noises when used for the first time.
