cylinder.
Gas leaks from the gas
cylinder valve.
Gas leaks at the
connection of the
gas bottle and gas
pressure regulator.
Flames erupt from the

Potential cause
Damaged hose
Mechanical wear due

operation.
Defective gas
cylinder valve due to
mechanical wear or
incorrect operation
Faulty installation,
leaking connection or
defective rubber seal
Fire in the burner tube
due to blockages.
Too much grease has
accumulated in the
burner area.
Prevention / Solution
Turn off gas at the gas
bottle. Replace the hose if it
is cut or torn. Reconnect the
gas bottle to the grill and
carry out a leak test.
Turn off the gas bottle valve.
Close the gas cylinder valve
and take the gas cylinder
back to your gas dealer.
Close the gas cylinder valve,
remove the gas pressure
regulator from the gas
cylinder and visually inspect
the rubber seal for damage.
Follow the instructions
for the leak test and for
connecting the gas pressure
regulator to the gas cylinder
(in the "Safety Instructions"
and "Installation" sections)
Immediately set all knobs
to "OFF" and close the gas
cylinder valve. After the
flames have gone out and
the grill has cooled down,
remove the burner and
inspect it for spider nests or
rust (see section "Cleaning").
Close the gas supply on
the gas bottle. Leave
the lid open to allow the
flames to die down. After
the grill has cooled down,
remove food residues and
grease residues from the
combustion chamber, the
grease drip tray and other
surfaces.
