Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized
technician or engineer. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
This appliance is not designed to be immersed in water during cleaning.
Please follow the instructions that we have included for you in the chapter on
"Cleaning".
Use proper pan size - select pans that have flat bottoms large enough to cover
the surface of appliance's heating area.
Do not use the surface as a cutting board.
In the interests of hygiene and safety the appliance should be always kept
clean as a buildup in fats and other food could result in a fire.
Always keep combustible materials such as wall coverings or curtains etc. a
safe distance away from the appliance.
Unpacking the Appliance
Remove the appliance, handles, screws, and trim pieces from the box.
Also remove any packaging materials that may be present.
Ensure all pieces are present and correct.
