its taste and reducing any
unwanted substances that
may otherwise be present.
T h e H Y D R O S M A R T ™
METAL STOP filter is used
to filter mains drinking water,
improving its taste by reducing
any unwanted substances that may be present. The
HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filters consist of silver-coated
vegetable-based activated carbon, a special ion exchange
resin and hollow fibre membranes. Activated carbons are
generally effective in reducing chlorine and derivatives, while
the ion exchange resin blocks heavy metals such as lead that
may be present in mains water. The hollow fibre module,
instead, is effective in removing microplastics, particulate
matter and micro-debris that may be present in mains water.
The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter maintains
the mineral salts naturally present in mains water and
effectively reduces: heavy metals such as lead and cadmium,
microplastics, sand, rust, suspended particles, chlorine,
chlorinated organic herbicides and pesticides and chlorinated
organic solvents.
The LAICA tap filter allows you to select from 3 different
water delivery modes:
1) Filtered water for drinking.
2) Unfiltered water with spray head.
3) Unfiltered water with continuous stream.
CAUTION:
The HYDROSMART™ METAL STOP filter filters water, which
IN ANY CASE MUST BE DRINKABLE and microbiologically safe
(check with the competent authority in your region).
For informed use, request information from your mains water
supplier or test the water coming from your house tap.
