CAUTION: All connections and couplings must be hand-tight. Do not tighten them with
tools. Otherwise damage may occur.
1. See drawing 3: Place the unit at least 3.5 meters from the bath. Make sure the device is in a sheltered
place.
2. See drawing 12-A-B-C-D: Fix the unit to the ground. The unit must always be in an upright position
during operation. Secure the unit against falling over.
3. See drawing 1: Loosen the nut (A) from the housing (H). Remove the UV-C lamp (D) from the supplied
tube (see packaging) and carefully slide the lamp into the quartz glass (F), paying attention to the correct
position of the sealing rings (E) and (C) on the quartz glass. Insert the lamp (D) with the contact pins
upwards into the lamp socket (B) and then screw the nut (B) onto the housing of the unit (G).
4. Mount the unit using the grommets or connectors (J) or (K) in the circuit. Tighten the grommets or
connectors (J) or (K) using the nut (L), paying attention to the correct position of the sealing rings (I) at
the connection (see drawing 1). (see drawing 3) NOTE: The UV-C system must be placed at least 3.5
meters from the pool. Make sure that the supply and discharge pipes are long enough.
5. ATTENTION: Let the glued parts evaporate for 8 hours.
6. Start the pump and check the system for flow and leakage.
7. Place the plug of the UV-C device in a wall socket with an earth connection and a 30 mA earth leakage
circuit breaker. ATTENTION: The plug must be fed 3.5 meters from the bath. An extension cable may not
be used.
8. Check that the lamp is lit through the transparent part (O) of the device.
9. The device is turned off by de-energizing the unit. (there is no switch on it).
CONTROL INDICATION CHECK
LED indication (Image 14b)
If the UV-C device is switched on, the system will check itself. The LED will then turn green or
red. This depends on the status of the lamp or power supply.
Lamp indication status (Drawing 14b)
Green: The system is working properly.
Red: The system is not working. If this cannot be solved with a new lamp, the electronic lamp driver is
defective. check for visible defects and do not switch on the system until the technical problem is solved!
NOTE: There may also be a lamp error indication (red lamp) lit if the correct order of mounting is not
followed. In this case, the lamp driver is first supplied with voltage and then the safety switch is activated.
This occurs when the lamp base is inserted into the quartz glass of the unit.
Always ensure that the unit is fully assembled before feeding the lamp driver.
