Safety instructions for

batteries

Leaking or damaged batteries/
rechargeable batteries can cause
burns if they come into contact with the
skin� Therefore wear suitable protective
gloves in such case�
In the event of leaking batteries, remove

them immediately from the product in order
to prevent damage�
z Before commissioning
Please remove all packing material and
inspect the grill light for damage. If you find
any, return the grill light as described in
section "Handling of warranty claims�"
z Inserting the batteries
Unscrew the battery compartment cover
(see Fig� E) and remove the battery tray
Insert the 3 AAA/LR03 batteries into the
battery tray
according to the polarity

printed on them� Slide the battery tray
into the housing
of the grill light, making

sure that the arrow on the battery tray
points towards the grill light (see Fig� F)�
Now screw the battery compartment cover
back onto the grill light�
