Before you start working
Before each use, check the condition and oil level
(15W40) in the air filter cup.
Before starting the tiller, check the fuel leak
tightness system, particularly visible parts such as
tank, tank cap, flexible tube connections. In the event
of leakage or damage, do not start the combustion
engine. Have the tiller repaired by an official dealer.
Make sure that the equipment is only used by people
who are familiar with the instruction manual.
Replace defective parts as well as all other used and
damaged parts;
Check that all nuts and screws are properly tightened. It
is important to regularly inspect the tiller to ensure
safety issues and its performance.
Inspect the soil, where you will use the tiller and remove
all large stones, sticks, wires, glass, metals, bones and
other foreign objects that may be projected by the tiller.
Objects hidden in the soil (sprinkler system, stakes,
water taps, electrical cables, etc.) must be visibly
marked in order to be bypassed by the tiller. Never pass
over these foreign objects.
Before start-up, to ensure you work safely with the
tiller, you need to check if:
▪ The whole machine is assembled correctly and if the
tines are assembled firmly and securely;
▪ The safety devices (e.g. traction mechanism levers,
fender guards, guards, handlebars, grid) are in
perfect condition and working correctly. Never use
the equipment if the safety devices are missing,
damaged or worn out;
▪ The tank, fuel system components and cap are in
perfect condition;
▪ The engine oil filler cap is properly tightened;
Make all adjustments and work necessary. If you have
any questions or difficulties, contact your official dealer.
Before start up, remove all objects on top of the
machine (tools, accessories, cloths, etc.).
Observe the local regulations on the hours when it is
allowed to use tools with a combustion engine and the
permitted noise level.

While operating
Keep third parties away from the tiller's area of
operation. Never work while animals or people,
especially children, are in the danger zone. During
work, earth and stones can be projected.
The appliance can only be used by a single person. The
operator has to stay within the working area.
During operation, the tiller may never be lifted, pushed
or pulled by the transport handle, or other parts of the
appliance except by the handlebar grips, especially by a
second person.
The control and safety devices installed in the tiller
cannot be removed or inhibited. In particular, never fix
the drive mechanism levers to the upper part of the
handlebars.
Never place your hands or feet near rotating parts.
You should always keep a safety distance. The
safety distance is determined by the length of the
correctly assemble handlebar, do not modify the
handlebar and never start the machine with a folding
handlebar.
Never attach objects to the handlebars (e.g. work
clothing).
Work only in daylight or with good artificial lighting and
do not work with the tiller exposed to the rain, thunder
and, in particular, under the danger of lightning.
When the soil is wet, there is a greater risk of accidents
due to the less safe working position. You must work
carefully to avoid slipping. If possible, avoid using the
tiller with a wet soil.
Use the appliance with special caution when working
near slopes, ditches and wells. In particular, keep a safe
distance from these hazardous locations.
