Unplug the fabric steamer from the mains
socket when it is not in use, when fi lling the
water tank and when cleaning the appliance.
Do not pull on the cord to unplug the
appliance. Instead, take hold of the plug.
If the fabric steamer, cord or plug is
damaged, not working properly or has been
dropped on the fl oor or in water, the fabric
steamer must not be used. Do not attempt to
repair the fabric steamer. Incorrect repair or
assembly may result in fi re, electric shock or
personal injury if the fabric steamer is used
again.
Do not use an extension cord with the fabric
steamer.
To avoid overload, do not connect other
appliances to the same circuit as the fabric
steamer.
Only switch the fabric steamer on once the
water tank has been fi lled with distilled
water.
The fabric steamer must not be descaled,
especially with acid. If acid is heated, it
can be converted into vapour, which is
dangerous if inhaled.
If you have used the fabric steamer
continuously for 30 minutes, disconnect it
from the mains supply and allow it to cool
down for an hour before using it again.
The fabric steamer is not intended for
commercial use or use outdoors.
Note! The fabric steamer may contain small
impurities left over from the production
process on delivery. These will disappear
after a few seconds of steaming. Therefore
test the fabric steamer on a piece of old cloth
before you start to steam garments.
