With firm connection, the screwdriver can be used
to screw in the bolts of the below mechanical

The required torque time is determined approxi-
mately from the attached diagram:
ESR 20

ESR 30

Depending on the type of tightened parts, how-

ever, each case needs to be tested separately.
Acting of impacts longer than 10 seconds does
not already have any effect on torque increase.
Bolts of smaller dimensions can be
tightened only with soft connection, whilst
the torque time may be even shorter than
1 sec before the bolt is possibly impaired.
Hammering time should not exceed 2 – 3
seconds in this case).
If torsion-bar springs are used, bolt from
1
M8 can be tightened.
When loosening screwed connections (joints)
(seized bolts, etc.) it may happen that even the
above stated maximum time of mechanism
acting (10 s) is not sufficient. If this happens,
mechanism needs to be left acting interruptedly,
in about 10-second cycle with hammering and
10-second cycle of idle run, after the machine is
cooled.
Environmental Protection/
Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools
into household waste!
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC
on waste electrical and electronic equipment
and its incorporation into national law, power
tools that are no longer suitable for use must be
separately collected and sent for recovery in an
environmental-friendly manner.
Storage
The unit should be stored in a dry place where it
is protected against freezing.
Maintenance
Air vents (4) of engine cover must not get
plugged.
Cable may only be replaced in a professional
electric shop, which is authorized to carry out
works of such nature.
After ca 200 hours of operation the following
operations need to be carried out:
Brush length check Any brushes shorter than
5 mm should be replaced for new ones.
Exchange of lubrication oil in gearbox and
bearings.
ESR 20
After about 50 hours check the length of
brushes; any brushes shorter than 5 mm
should be replaced for new ones.
Exchange of lubrication oil in gearbox.
To preserve the respective protection
class, the machine must be checked in
terms of safety, therefore these works
need to be performed in a professional
electric shop, which is authorized to carry
out works of such nature.
Service
See enclosed sheet.
Guarantee
Our equipment is under warranty for at least
12 months with regard to material or production
faults in accordance with national legislation. In
the EU countries, the warranty period for ex-
clusively private use is 24 months (an invoice or
delivery note is required as proof of purchase).
Damage resulting from, in particular, normal
wear and tear, overloading, improper handling,
or caused by the user or other damage caused
by not following the operating instructions, or
any fault acknowledged at the time of purchase,
is not covered by the warranty. Complaints will
only be acknowledged if the equipment has not
been dismantled before being sent back to the
suppliers or to an authorised NAREX customer
support workshop. Store the operating instruc-
tions, safety notes, spare parts list and proof of
purchase in a safe place. In addition, the manu-
facturer's current warranty conditions apply.

The acoustic pressure level: 103 dB (A).
The acoustic output level: 116 dB (A).
Use noise-suppressing protective aids.
Weighed vibration level acting on hands and
arms: 3.5 m/s

Inaccuracy of measurement K=2 dB (A).
ESR 30
The acoustic pressure level: 110 dB (A).
The acoustic output level: 123 dB (A).
Use noise-suppressing protective aids.
Weighed vibration level acting on hands and
arms is typically lower than 3.5 m/s
.
