to operate the grill.
Always bear in mind that the housing
surfaces as well as the heating element
become very hot during operation. Even
aft er the heating element is switched
off , it must not be touched until it has
suffi ciently cooled down - there is
otherwise a severe danger of burns.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, the
heating element and the power cord must
not be immersed in liquid or even allowed
to come into contact with it.
Do not allow the power cord to touch any
hot parts of the appliance.
Th e power cord should be regularly
examined for any signs of damage. In the
event of such damage being found, the
appliance must no longer be used.
Always remove the plug from the wall
socket
- before fi lling the grill pan with water,
- aft er use,
- in case of any malfunction, and
- during cleaning.
Th e use of an extension-lead reel causes
a loss of power, possibly combined with a
subsequent heat build-up in the cable. It
is therefore necessary to unwind the cable
completely if a cable reel is used. Make
sure that the reel is approved for outdoor
use by the manufacturer.
Th e appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
Never move the grill while it is in use
or still hot. Always allow the appliance
suffi cient time to cool down before
carrying, transporting or storing it. Pour
out any remaining water aft er use.
Ensure that the grill is not stored outdoors,
or in any other location where it might be
subjected to extremes of temperature or
high humidity.
No responsibility is accepted if damage
results from improper use, or if these
instructions are not complied with.
Th is appliance is intended for domestic or
similar applications, such as
- in shops, offi ces and other similar
working environments,
- in agricultural areas,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc. and
similar establishments,
- in bed-and breakfast type environments.
In order to comply with safety regulations
and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical
appliances must be carried out by
qualifi ed
personnel,
replacement of the power cord. If repairs
are needed, please send the appliance to
one of our customer service departments.

Grill assembly
Th e barbecue grills are available in diff erent
confi gurations.
When assembling the grill, always refer to
diagram A corresponding to your particular
grill model. Follow the steps below:
1.
Place the grill pan inside the plastic
housing.
2.
Place the heating element into the grill
pan.
3.
Fit the grill rack on top.
4.
If required, additional accessories may
be fi tted according to diagram A for
your particular grill model.
Grill models with additional base stand:
Assemble the base stand according to the
schematic diagram B for your particular grill
model. Place the grill onto the stand in such a
way that the small feet under the grill connect
in the top of the vertical legs of the base
stand; ensure that the grill and base stand are
placed in a safe and stable position.
Th e power cord should be routed in such a
way that no one is likely to trip over it.
Heating element
Th e junction box contains a safety switch.
Place the grill pan into the plastic housing
fi rst, and then fi t the heating element inside
the grill pan and housing. Th e safety switch
