• V. TIME OF OBSOLESCENCE
SCOTT Goggles have limited lifespan. For optimum safety, SCOTT recom-
mends replacing your product three (3) to five (5) years after its purchasing
date, depending on usage.
SCOTT Goggles or goggle lenses that are damaged or worn out must be
replaced for safety reasons.
SCOTT shall not be liable for damages relating to the use of products which
should have been replaced.
It is essential for the lens to be changed if it can no longer be guaranteed to
work properly and provide good protection because of soiling, mechanical
wear and tear or improper usage.
• VI. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SIZING, FIT
For the SCOTT product to serve its purpose, it must cover the protected area
correctly.
To obtain maximum comfort and protection, SCOTT goggles must be adjust-
ed correctly.
The goggles should be placed on the user's face, and the strap around the
head or the helmet. Adjust the strap by sliding the plastic sliders towards the
face to tighten it, and towards the back of the head to loosen it.
A. CHANGING THE LENS
Please note that ideally the lens should be changed at room temperature so
that the frame is sufficiently pliable.
Should you need a new lens, please make a note of the model code, which
is marked inside the frame (IV. Product Information) and order the relevant
replacement lens from your specialist retailer.
All goggles ( e xcluding frames 1301, 1501, 2301)
