Remove the right side cover (see owner's manual).

Remove air filter box cover (see owner's manual).

Remove the battery (see owner's manual).
Assembly

Pull starter relay from holding bracket

Remove original holding bracket
–
Pull back protection cap
–

Pull control unit from the holder.
