TIPS FOR STEAMING
Clothes Hanging on a Hanger
Steamer can be used while clothes are hanging on a hanger .
•
Steam iron should be held with the power indicator light facing
upwards . Soleplate should be parallel to the clothing while
steaming .
Removing Wrinkles
Lightly pull on the hem to flatten out wrinkles . While pulling on the hem
with one hand, run the steam iron across the stretched fabric with the
other hand . For best results, move the steam iron slowly over the fabric
using plenty of steam .
Moving the product too quickly or using on certain types of clothes may
make removing wrinkles difficult .
For fabrics where wrinkles are hard to remove, such as cotton or hemp,
press the iron against the fabric to remove wrinkles .
NOTE: When ironing clothes on a hanger, make sure the hanger
is placed in a stable spot where it cannot be easily
moved .
Maintaining Volume in Fabrics
For thicker fabrics, please use the product at least 0 .4 in/1 cm away from
the fabric to maintain fabric volume .

TIPS FOR IRONING
Basic Ironing Techniques
To prevent wrinkles created by random movements of the fabric, slide the iron
back and forth in the same direction .
For hard to remove wrinkles and creases, press the iron firmly into the fabric
while ironing .
For best results, stretch the fabric with one hand while ironing with the other .
For Use on Cotton or Hemp Fabrics
Lightly spray the fabrics with water before ironing .
For best results, spread the fabric on the ironing board, spray with water, and
then iron without steam .
Use of the iron without steam will result in fewer wrinkles .
Hard to Iron Areas
Cuffs

Iron on the inside of the cuff .

Hold the seam of the cuff and iron from the outer edges in .
Shoulders / Yoke

Iron using the front end of the soleplate .
Collar
•
Hold the collar flat and iron from the outer edges in .
