Connecting the gas supply
▷ If the heater is suspended on chains, use an
approved flexible gas hose.
1 Disconnect the system from the electrical power
supply.
2 Shut off the gas supply.
3 Remove the sealing plug at the inlet tube of the
gas combination control CG.
4 Connect the gas pipe with threaded connec-
tion (R ¾" external thread) or gas hose, see
page  20 (Accessories), to the inlet tube of
the gas combination control.
▷ Use approved sealing material only.
▷ Note the maximum inlet pressure, see page 23
(Technical data).
Tightness test
1 Disconnect the system from the electrical power
supply. The mains plug may only be pulled out
once the device has been switched off.
▷ The valves are closed when de-energized.
2 Open the cover of the ACU.
▷ To do so, turn the cross-head screw anti-clock-
wise several turns so that it can be lifted.
3 Open the test point for p

5 Switch on the power supply.
6 Release the gas supply.
▷ Inlet pressure p
 = 70 mbar.

7 Shut off the gas supply.
8 Check the gas pressure on the pressure gauge.
▷ The pressure must not drop.
Wiring
CAUTION
Danger of electric shocks!
Before working on possible live components,
ensure the unit is disconnected from the power
supply.
1 Disconnect the system from the electrical power
supply. The mains plug may only be pulled out
once the device has been switched off.
2 Shut off the gas supply.
3 Open the housing cover of the ACU.
▷ To do so, turn the cross-head screw anti-clock-
wise several turns so that it can be lifted.
4 Open the cover of the burner control unit.
