'SELF CLEANING FILTER' FUNCTION
With switch (B) in position "I", when
switch (A) is set to the "AUTOMATIC"
position the Self Cleaning filter function
is activated.
When the appliance is switched off, it
will continue to run for 8/10 seconds,
then the self-cleaning filter function will
begin.
When the switch 'A' is set
to MANUAL the Self Cleaning
Filter function is not active.

Warning light (C) on:
manually start the "Self-cleaning filter"
function; press the orange switch (E).
For proper cleaning of the filter element,
follow the instructions on page 26
Continuous operation of the "Self-cleaning filter" system for more than 60
seconds may cause the thermal protection switch to trip.
If the air speed drops to below 20 m/sec., the warning light comes
on (in accordance with IEC/EN 60335-2-69)

AUTOMATIC SMARTCLEAN FUNCTION
Automatic Filter Shaking Function at 110 and 220V
With the switch (B) in position I and the selector A in the automatic position, and
switching the power tool on, the vacuum cleaner starts and after 55"~ the automatic
filter shaking function starts for 8 seconds, of which 6 seconds with motor ON and 2
seconds with motor OFF at the end of the cleaning cycle the SMARTclean function
repeats endlessly.
At the end of the cleaning cycle, if the power tool is in position ON, the cleaning
cycle restarts automatically.
If the power tool is switched OFF before the end of the cleaning cycle, the vacuum
cleaner continues to vacuum for 8 seconds to clean the flexible tube and, at the end
of the cycle, the SMARTclean function resets.
While you are working if you vacuum an extreme dust quantity, the SMARTclean
function can be used in the MANUAL MODE pushing the orange button placed on
the main console for a time of 15 - 20 sec max.
