1. SWITCHBOARD USAGE
CALL RECEIVED FROM A DOOR UNIT
The call from the door unit is sent to the competent switchboard of the door unit in day mode.
This will be indicated by the special ring tone and icon (10) will blink. The door unit camera
feed will appear in the video area (3) and the caller's indication will appear in the call data area
(7) or (8).
To answer the call using the 1060/41 handset:
1. Pick up the handset.
If a microphone headset it used:
1. Press button (10).
To end the call:
1. Hang up the handset 1060/41 or press the button (4).
To answer the call during another conversation:
If the operator is busy during another call, the call from the door unit will be displayed in the free
calling area (7) or (8). Proceed as follows:
Press the corresponding area (7) or (8) from where the new call originates, in which case the
previous call is put on hold by the switchboard.
To take back the call on hold, press the button (12) after having selected the corresponding
calling area (7) or (8).
CALL RECEIVED FROM A USER
Calls from users to the switchboard will be indicated by the specifi c ring tone and icon (10)
will blink. The call data area (7) or (8) will display information on the caller.
To answer the call using the 1060/41 handset:
1. Pick up the handset.
If a microphone headset it used:
1. Press button (10).
To end the call:
1. Hang up the handset 1060/41 or press the button (4).
To answer the call during another conversation:
If the operator is busy during another call, the call from the apartment station will be displayed
in the free calling area (7) or (8). Proceed as follows:
Press the corresponding area (7) or (8) from where the new call originates, in which case the
previous call is put on hold by the switchboard.
CALL TO A USER WITH A CODE
Proceed as follows if you know the code of the user you want to call:
1. Pick up the handset 1060/41, if provided.
2. Click on one of the two call data areas (7) or (8).
3. Enter the user code on the keypad.
4. Press the button (10) to make the call or the Enter key on the keyboard.
5. The message "Connected" will appear when the user answers in the selected call area
(7) or (8).
If you make a mistake when entering the code:
1. Press "C" to delete the last entered data.
To end the call:
1. Hang up the handset 1060/41 or press the button (4).
The message "Busy" will appear if the user is engaged in another conversation in the call
data area (7) or (8).
Press the repeat button (13) to repeat the last call.
