With your radio switched on (not in Standby mode):

You can change the display language of your radio, there are 13 options
available; English, Deutsch, Italiano, Français, Dansk, Nederlands, Suomi,

Press the Select knob.
release the Prev or Next buttons to scroll to the backlight
timeout option you would like. Permanently Off, 10, 20, 30,
45, 60, 90,120 or 180 second options are available. Press
the Select knob.
You can now turn the knob or press the Prev or Next
buttons to scroll and press the knob to confirm, as you did
to set the Backlight timeout, to change the settings for
the backlight brightness for the On level and Dim level.
There are 3 options available, High, Medium and Low and
the current setting will be highlighted.
