OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the
instruction book carefully.
INTENDED USE
The machine is intended for impact drilling in
brick, concrete and stone as well as for drilling
in wood, metal and plastic. Machines with
electronic control and right/left rotation are also
suitable for thread-cutting.
ASSEMBLY
1. INSTALLING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
(SEE FIG. A)
For your personal safety we recommend using
the auxiliary handle at all times.
Rotate the handgrip of the auxiliary handle anti-
clockwise to loosen the clamping ring. Slide the
clamping ring of the auxiliary handle over the
handle collar of the drill, and rotate the handle
around the collar until the handle is in a desired
working position. Rotate the handgrip clockwise
to tighten the auxiliary handle in place.
WARNING: The auxiliary handle must be
used during operation.

2. INSTALLING THE DEPTH GAUGE (SEE FIG.
B)
The depth gauge can be used to set a constant
drilling depth. Rotate the locking screw for depth
gauge anti-clockwise to loosen, insert the depth
gauge through the hole on the auxiliary handle.
Slide the depth gauge to a required depth and
tighten the locking screw for depth gauge by
turning it clockwise.

3. INSERTING A DRILL BIT INTO THE CHUCK
(SEE FIG. C)
WARNING: Before installing a drill bit,
remove the plug from mains supply.
With the drill point to you, hold the rear section of
the keyless chuck and rotate the front section of
chuck clockwise to undo/loosen the chuck. Insert
the drill bit into the chuck and firmly tighten the
chuck by rotating the front section of the chuck
anti-clockwise. Check to see if the drill bit is
locked securely in place.

OPERATION
1. ON/OFF SWITCH (SEE FIG. D)
Depress the on/off switch to start and release it
to stop your tool.
2. LOCK-ON BUTTON (SEE FIG E)
Depress the on/off switch then lock-on button,
release on/off switch first and then the lock-
