General safety instructions
Read and observe all safety instructions and store
them in a safe place!
Intended use
·
Only use the hot air brushes to dry and style human head hair.
·
This appliance is designed for commercial use.
User requirements
·
Read the operating manual in full and familiarise yourself with
it before the first use.
·
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
·
Only for European markets:
This appliance can be used both by children from 8 years of
age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must never be carried out by children,
unless they are supervised.

Keep packaging away from children because it can pose a dan-
ger (danger of suffocation!).
·
Keep the appliance out of reach of animals and protected
against the effects of the weather.
Hazards
Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance/
mains cable.
f Do not use the appliance if it is not working cor-
rectly, if it is damaged or if it has fallen into water.
In order to avoid hazards, repairs may only be per-
formed at an authorised service centre or by special-
ists properly trained in the handling of electrotechni-
cal appliances, and using original spare parts.
f Never use the appliance if the mains cable is dam-
aged. The appliance mains cable cannot be replaced.
If the mains cable is damaged, the appliance must
be scrapped.
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.
f Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or
other water-filled containers. It should also not be
used in areas of high humidity.
f If the appliance is being used in a bathroom, discon-
nect from the mains immediately after use because
proximity to water presents a risk, even when the
appliance is switched off.
f Always position or store electrical equipment where
it cannot fall into water (e.g. washbasin).
f If you have wet hands, do not use the appliance and
never connect it to or disconnect it from the mains.
f Never touch electrical equipment that has fallen
into water and is connected to the mains, or reach
into water to retrieve it. Disconnect from the mains
immediately.
f Have the appliance inspected at a service centre
before using it again.
f Only use and store the appliance in dry rooms.
f As an additional safety measure, it is recommended
that a tested residual current appliance (RCD) with a
residual operating current of not more than 30 mA
be installed in the circuit. Ask an electrician for
advice.
Danger of explosion!
f Never use the product in an environment with a high
concentration of aerosol (spray) products or in which
oxygen is released.
Danger! Flammable!
f The appliance must never be sprayed with aerosol
(spray) products classified as flammable.
Warning! Burning and fire hazards
f Parts of the appliance may become hot during use.
This poses a burning hazard!
f Always maintain a sufficient distance from any
highly flammable items, such as drapes or curtains.
f Place the appliance on a solid and heat-resistant
surface after use.
f Allow the appliance to cool down completely before
cleaning or storing it.
f Do not leave the appliance unattended either during
or after use.
Caution! Injuries due to incorrect handling.
f Only operate the appliance with the voltage stated
on the nameplate.
f Only use accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
f Never insert or allow objects to fall into the open-
ings of the appliance.
f Do not place any items in or around the air inlet and
do not cover it.
f Do not carry the appliance by the mains cable and,
when disconnecting the appliance from the mains,
always pull the plug rather than the cable or the
appliance.
