Fitting a disc
Press and hold down the spindle lock (1) to
secure the spindle. Turn the spindle until it
locks. Remove the � anges using the spanner
provided.
Fit the inner � ange and the required disc on
the spindle and screw the outer � ange back
on the spindle.
Turn the � anges so that they match the
thickness of the washer. For thick washers,
the edges of the � anges should face in
towards one another. For thin washers, the
outer edge of the � ange should face away
from the inner � ange.
Release the spindle lock.
Switch the angle grinder on and let it run
for 30 seconds to check that it is working
correctly and that there are no abnormal
vibrations.
Stop the angle grinder immediately if heavy
vibration occurs, and investigate the cause.
Adjusting the handle
Press and hold the release button (2) and
turn the handle (3) to the required side. Let
go of the release button and gently turn the
handle until it clicks into place.

Take hold of the handle (3). Push the on/off
button (5) forward and then press on it to
turn the angle grinder on.
Avoid blocking the vent holes with your
hand, as this may cause the grinder to
overheat. Allow the disc to reach full speed.
Apply the disc to the workpiece. Maximum
eff ect is achieved when the disc is held at an
angle of 15-30° in relation to the workpiece.
When cutting, keep the angle grinder
perpendicular to the workpiece.
Move the angle grinder gently along the
workpiece. Give the angle grinder time to
work. It is rarely necessary to press the disc
against the surface to be worked.
Stop the angle grinder by releasing the on/
off button and/or the safety button.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the angle grinder with a slightly damp
cloth after use and always keep its surfaces
and vent holes clean.
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents,
as they may attack the plastic parts of the
machine.
