Avoid situations where loads are not directly centered on

addition, the load may slip or fall, causing potentially dangerous
results.
Distribute the load evenly across the entire saddle
surface. Always use a saddle to protect the plunger.
IMPORTANT: Hydraulic equipment must only be
serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician. For repair
service, contact the Authorized ENERPAC Service Center
in your area. To protect your warranty, use only ENERPAC oil.
WARNING: Immediately replace worn or damaged parts
by genuine ENERPAC parts. Standard grade parts will
break causing personal injury and property damage.
ENERPAC parts are designed to fit properly and withstand high
loads.
3.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The footswitch is to be used with Z-Class pumps that use the VE32,
VE33 or VE43 valves. (7th digit of model number is the letter "S".)
4.0 OPERATION
1.
Press down on the cord end of the footswitch for advance
and the opposite end for retract (see Fig. 1).

5.0 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
To install the foot switch on pumps with VE32, VE33 or VE43
valves.
A: ZU Series
1.
Remove the right side shroud by removing the seven screws
that hold the shroud halves together with a 5 mm (3/16") allen
wrench.
2.
Gently pull the pendant connector from the power board.
3.
Remove the locking nut from the backside of the cord
bushing and remove the bushing and pendant cable from the
front bracket.
4.
Install the cord and bushing from the foot switch through the
hole in the front bracket (See Fig. 3).
5.
Slide the locking nut over the connector and thread on the
bushing, being careful not to over tighten and crack the
locking nut.
6.
Gently plug in the connector to the pendant pin on the power
board (see Fig. 2).
7.
Reassemble the shroud and test for proper operation.
