Special safety instructions
For outdoor use only.
Do not use when it is raining.
Check that the air vents on the hedge
trimmer are not blocked.
Always use ear protectors, protective
goggles, overalls and safety footwear when
using the hedge trimmer.
Do not allow other people or animals to
come within a radius of 3 metres of the
hedge trimmer while it is running.
Remember that noise from the hedge
trimmer can prevent you from hearing
warnings etc.
Be aware of your surroundings when you are
using the hedge trimmer.
Keep � ngers and hands safely away from the
blade while using the hedge trimmer.
Do not obstruct or in any other way prevent
the safety switch from working, e.g. with the

intention of using the hedge trimmer with
one hand.
Always stand safely and steadily when using
the hedge trimmer.
Always switch the trimmer off after use,
before removing objects stuck in the blade
and before cleaning the trimmer.
Never put the hedge trimmer down before
it has completely stopped running. The
blade continues to run a short time after the
machine has been switched off .
A sturdy pair of work gloves can reduce
vibrations in your hands.
Never walk around with the hedge trimmer
while it is running.
