• If the weight on the scale is not stable or if the scale is not placed on a hard, flat and
stable surface, the following indication appears on the display:
• Place the scale on a flat, level and stable surface, and try again.

• The maximum weight supported by the scale is 5000 g (5 kg). If the scale is
overloaded, the following message appears on the screen:
• Remove the food or container to prevent any malfunction. If you want to weigh
large quantities of ingredients, weigh them in batches.
• Wipe the scale platform with a soft damp sponge and a little washing-up liquid. Be
careful not to let water or other liquids get inside the appliance, especially in the
battery compartment. Then dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use abrasive detergents or a scouring sponge to clean it, as this will damage
the coating.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
