Connecting to your television and setting up
Before connecting any external equipment, turn off all main power switches. If there is no switch
remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
VOLUME CONTROL
Volume Control – controls the gain of the subwoofer amplifier.
Power/Sleep mode indicator – Green LED indicates subwoofer power on, Red LED indicates sleep mode.
Phono input – connection for input signal.
Mains socket/Fuse/Power switch – connection to mains.
PLEASE NOTE: This subwoofer is designed to be used with Toshiba televisions only.
Connecting the subwoofer
Make sure the Volume control is set pointing

directly upwards.
Connect one end of the phono cable with white

connectors (provided) to the variable audio
output (white L/Mono connection) or the
subwoofer output (black connection) on the
television.
Plug the power cable into the back of the

subwoofer, then attach the subwoofer to the back
of the television.
Connect the other end of the phono cable to the

Phono input on the back of the subwoofer.
Switch on the television and the subwoofer,
the mode indicator on the subwoofer will
appear GREEN.
PLEASE NOTE: If the subwoofer is to be stood
on the floor an alternative phono cable
(not provided) will be required.

Setting up the subwoofer
Using the AV connection menu on the television

select variable audio output or external
subwoofer depending on which connections
have been used.
Select the sound settings on the television and

the volume control on the subwoofer and adjust
to suit your personal preference.
We suggest a number of different sources are
used, such as music, films and news programmes,
in order to find the best settings.
The subwoofer has an auto sleep function. If no input
signal is being received after approximately 5 minutes the
subwoofer will automatically go into sleep mode, the
mode indicator will appear RED. The subwoofer will
remain in sleep mode until an input signal is received.
