25. Do not pull the power plug out
of the electrical outlet by the
power cord.
26. Do not open the housing
under any circumstances. Do
not insert any objects into the
inside of the housing.
27. Connect the mains plug to an
easily accessible socket, in
order to quickly disconnect the
appliance from the mains
supply in an emergency.
28. Danger of burns and
scalding! Be aware
that the appliance, the
heating element, the water
inside the appliance and the
inserted baskets can become
very hot. Do not touch the
hot surfaces. Always use
kitchen gloves or the like to
insert and lift baskets and
always wait until the appliance
is completely cooled down
before removing the heating
element or the baskets.
29. During use of the appliance,
make sure the water level lies
between the MIN marking and
the MAX marking to avoid
damaging the appliance and
prevent accidents. Never use
the appliance without or with
insufficient water and never
overfill it.
30. If you use an extension cord or
a multi-socket unit, it must have
an appropriate power rating.
31. Keep a minimum distance of
10cm between the appliance
and walls or other objects.
Never place the appliance
near flammable objects, such
as curtains.
32. Never move the appliance
while it is operating, hot and/or
filled with water.
33. Always use the appliance with
clear, cold water. Never fill any
other liquids into the appliance.
34. Do not leave the appliance
unattended during operation.
Electrical safety
1. Ensure the rated voltage
shown on the rating label
corresponds with the voltage
of the power supply.
2. Do not operate any appliance
with a damaged power
cord or plug, when the
appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner.
3. Protect the power cord against
damages. Do not let it hang
over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it. Do not
place the appliance on the
power cord. Keep the power
cord away from hot surfaces
and ensure that nobody can
trip over it.
4. Do not insert fingers or foreign
objects in any opening of the
appliance and do not obstruct
the air vents.
