CAUTION
7.
To reduce risk of injury, charge only Nickel-Cadmium type
rechargeable batteries. Other types of batteries may burst, causing
personal injury and equipment damage.
8.
For indoor use only. Keep the battery charger and adapter away
from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
9.
To protect the life of the battery, use the battery pack only with the
WalkPac portable pump. Use only an Enerpac battery charger to
protect the battery from overcharging.
10.
To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord, pull by the
plug rather than the cord when disconnecting the charger.
11.
Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped
over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
12.
Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug -- replace it
immediately.
13.
Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been
dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified
serviceman.
14.
An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary.
Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and
electric shock. If extension cord must be used, make sure:
a.
That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number,
size, and shape as those of the plug on the charger;
b.
That extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical
condition; and
c.
That wire size is large enough for ac ampere rating of
charger as specified:
Less than 100 ft.
100 - 149 ft.
150 ft and larger
