Drilling
Switch off the hammer-action function to drill into smooth or
sensitive surfaces such as ceramic tiles.
• Press release-knob (13) and turn the mode selection
switch (6) with the arrow in position ( ) to switch off the
hammer-action function.
Hammer-action drilling
Set your drill to hammer action for drilling into stone,
concrete, bricks and roof tiles etc.
• Turn the mode selection switch (6) with the arrow in
position (
) to switch on the hammer-action function.
SWITCHING YOUR DRILL ON AND OFF
• To switch it on: press the on/off dead man's switch (7).
• To switch it off: release the on/off dead man's switch (7).
SETTING THE SPEED / NUMBER OF IMPACTS
The control electronics enable infinitely variable speed and number of impacts to be selected for
work appropriate to the material.
Select the speed with the adjusting wheel (10) according to the material.
The information in the following table are recommended values
• Drilling tiles
• Processing of plaster / lightweight building materials
• Peeling off tiles
• Processing of bricks
• Processing concrete
DUST COLLECTOR
Before you start overhead work, position the dust collector (14) with the opening towards the
front above the bit. The dust will collect in the inner chamber of the dust collector instead of falling
onto the drill or its user.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• Always unplug your drill before working on it.
• Always keep your drill clean.
• Clean the casing with a dry cloth every time you have used your drill. Do not use cleaning
solvents that may damage the casing.
NOTE: Only change the mode switch (6)
positions when your drill is switched off.
