THE FRONT FOG LAMPS - SET
The front fog lamps, ordering No. BFB 400 004, are intended for the additional installation on
the vehicles Škoda Fabia, Fabia Combi, Fabia Sedan since MY 2005.
Advice
The part „Front fog lamps", ordering No. Škoda BFB 400 004, is intended solely for professio-
nal mounting by the contract partners of Škoda Auto. The mounting requires the employ-
ment of special tooling and Workshop Manuals; because of that, the „Front fog lamps" must
not be sold to final users in a not mounted state.
Undertake the disassembly and assembly of the individual components according to
the Workshop Manual.
During the installation, the car battery is to be disconnected.
Dismount the following parts:
- the lower section of the dashboard and the passenger' s glove box.
- the instrument panel.
- the fuse box.
- the separating area cover (leave the windshield washer hoses connected) and carefully lay
it upon the vehicle' s windscreen. When disassembling the cover, cut off the plastic clips
and use the clips from the front fog lamp set for reassembly.
- replace the grids in the orifices of the bumper with the grids of the orifices (H) from the kit
of the front fog lights.
- replace the light switch with the light selector (F) from the front fog lamp package.
Mount and connect the front fog lights in the same way on both sides of the vehicle
- see Fig. 8 - 10. Do discern properly between the L.H. and the R.H. fog lights and their
covers.
Fasten all the conductors of the cable harness of the fog headlamps to the existing
electric installation of the vehicle by means of fastening tapes in suitable places, so that
they might not suffer any damage, and no bothering noise might be produced during
the drive. If the cable harness cannot be fixed to the existing electric installation of the
vehicle in the engine compartment, fix it with a suitable adhesive tape to the car body.
After finishing the mounting, perform the adjustment of the fog lamps.
