Minimum distances between the heater and adjacent walls, ceiling and floor are as follows:
For direct ceiling mounting:
•
Bracket pieces - fit onto pre-fitted
bracket on heater using supplied
butterfly nuts.
•
Masonry expansion bolts (for fitting
brackets into concrete ceiling).
Rectangular "L" Heaters (with two brackets) can
be wall-mounted using supplied brackets.
Minimum mounting height is 3.5m or higher.
Herschel recommends no more than 20 - 30˚
downward tilt on the heater, both to maintain
separation of the heater from the wall as well as
to avoid too high intensity heat for people working
beneath.
