System Connection
• Be sure to use speakers with an adequate power
rating. If you use small capacity speakers, they
may be damaged.
• Do not connect any active speakers (with built-in
amplifiers) to the speaker terminals of the
amplifier. Doing so may damage the active
speakers.
• Use speakers with an appropriate impedance
rating.
– 2 Ω to 8 Ω (stereo)
– 4 Ω to 8 Ω (bridged connection)
• Do not connect the terminal of the speaker
system to the car chassis, and do not connect the
terminal of the right speaker with that of the
left speaker.
The following shows the system typically used
when connecting this amplifier. Refer to the
operating instructions supplied with each of your
connecting equipment for more details about
connection.

• When connecting the subwoofer to a channel, set the
FILTER to "LP" and the RANGE to "50-500".
When connecting another type of speaker, set the FILTER
and RANGE of the channel to the appropriate settings
according to your needs.
• You can bridge CH 1/2, CH 3/4, CH 5/6, and CH 7/8 of this
amplifier for more powerful output. For details, see
"Bridging the amplifier channels" (page 14).
