REMEMBER TO WORK UNDER SAFETY CONDITIONS
AND TO KEEP THE ENGINE TURNED OFF.
1.
Remove the saddle and the front and rear side panels.
Identify the original ECU located under the battery tray. If
necessary, check in the service manual for your bike to find
out where it is located. Unhook the original rubber band
securing the battery, lift the fuel tank and gently move it
forward to allow the battery tray to be lifted next. Disconnect
and remove the battery, slide out the starter relay, unscrew
the bolts securing the battery tray and remove it.
2.
Remove the original ECU from
the battery tray. Press the retainer
clip on the OEM ECU connector
before detaching it: make sure to
remove the connector without
damaging it.
3.
Put the rubberized brackets
(included in the kit) into the GET
ECU support bracket.
4.
Place the GET ECU support
bracket between the lower tabs of
the battery tray.
5.
Insert the GET ECU in the support
bracket and secure it with the special
elastic (included in the kit).
