6. Smart AP Software
Please install the software from the CD.
The software doesn't affect the function of the external Hard Disk Drive, no matter if it runs correctly or
not. In case of incompatibility with devices in the future you can close the software or try to get update
from www.icybox.de.
By clicking on button 1 – 4 the software shows the following information recorded on the HDD:
Button 1 - HDD Status: Total Capacity, Free
Space, Transfer rate, HDD usage times (Here the
HDD has 678 times power on/off circle, if the HDD
has been used in other enclosure, the formal on/
off circle will be counted further).
Button 2 - HDD Temperature: the current
temperature and the highest ever reached
temperature.
IB-223 Series
Button 3 – Alarm Status: if the preset tempera-
ture / capacity is reached, the left lamp will flash
red. By normal Status the right lamp lights green.
Button 4 – Setting: Here you can set the HDD
Name, alarm temperature, alarm capacity
proportion and the refresh interval.
