2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY

Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the

The device is not designed to be handled by persons

and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by

When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration while

for working with the device, specified in section 1
(Legend). The use of correct and approved personal
protective equipment reduces the risk of injury.

The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.
b)
Disconnect the device from the power supply
before commencement of adjustment, cleaning and
maintenance. Such a preventive measure reduces
the risk of accidental activation.
c)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users. Keep
the device in perfect technical condition.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
f)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
g)
Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the

ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is used to project straight lines horizontally and
vertically onto work surfaces.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out of
the reach of children and persons with limited mental and
sensory functions.
The device can also be hung on the wall.
Before use, install the batteries according to the indicated
polarity.

3.3. DEVICE USE
Turning on/off
1.
Press the power button to turn on the device. The
device will automatically enter the auto levelling
mode.
2.
The same power button is also used to turn the
device off.
PLEASE NOTE: The device will turn off automatically
after 5 minutes in the alarm state (it means that the
permissible tilt angle has been exceeded which is
signalled by a flashing icon on the control panel).
Battery level indicator
1.
Connect to charge or replace the batteries when the
power indicator is on.
Levelling
1.
When the device is turned on, it automatically enters
the levelling mode. The laser beam will start blinking.
2.
After levelling is completed, the laser will start
rotating at 600 RPM.

LEASE NOTE: When the mode indicator and the laser
beam are blinking simultaneously, the laser is placed
incorrectly or the angle of inclination exceeds 5o.
Then the device setting should be corrected.
Rotation
Continuous rotation:
1.
Press the acceleration button to control the rotation
speed.
2.
After pressing the button several times, the laser
starts rotating successively at the following speed:
0-60-120-300-600-0 rpm.
Phased Rotation:
1.
Use the acceleration button to reduce the rotation
speed to 0.
2.
Press the right/left rotation button, as appropriate.
Directional scanning
1.
Press the directional scan button.
2.
After pressing this button several times, the laser will
start changing the scanning angle in the following
order: 0° - 10° - 45° - 90° - 180° - 0°.
3.
Use the arrows to change the scanning direction.
Tilt angle adjustment
When the device is upright, you need to adjust the X and Y
axis tilt angle to perform a horizontal scan.
1.
Press the manual mode button.
2.
When the X-axis indicator is on, use the + and -
buttons to adjust the tilt angle.
3.
Do the same when the Y-axis indicator is on.
4.
To return to the automatic levelling mode, press the
manual mode button again.
Remote control
The remote control reacts to the infrared.
1.
To turn on the remote control, point the remote
control at the infrared focus.
2.
Use the buttons to adjust the parameters: tilt angle,
direction of rotation and directional scan.
