flash on the gauge face. (The battery life of the gauge
is 180 hours in PEAK mode, under continuous
operation function.)
To activate/deactivate the PEAK mode follow
these steps:
1. Press the SELECT button three (3) times or until
the MANO mode appears on the gauge.
2. Press the ENTER button to select functions under
the MANO mode.
3. The gauge will display the PEAK mode. To change
to on or off press the ENTER button.
4.5 Continuous Operation Function
IMPORTANT: The gauge will shut off after 15 min, if
gauge is not in Continuous Mode. NOTE: If gauge is
left in continuous mode it will remain "ON" until either
shut off or battery expires.
When the CONT mode is on, the word cont will flash
on the gauge face. To select the CONT mode follow
these steps:
1. Press the SELECT button three (3) times or until
the MANO mode appears on the gauge.
2. Press the ENTER button to select functions under
the MANO mode.
3. Press the SELECT button again three (3) times
until the CONT function displays.
To change to Continuous Operation "on" or "off"
press the ENTER button.
4.6 Min. and Max operation
While monitoring pressure your Enerpac gauge will
display the maximum pressure that the gauge
has displayed.
To reset the maximum pressure back to zero follow
these steps:
1. Press the SELECT button and then the
ENTER button.
• When you press the SELECT button "reset" will
appear on the bottom right of the gauge.
• When you press the ENTER button it resets the
pressure back to zero.
2. To display the minimum pressure, press the
ENTER button. The word "MIN" will now
display for 5 seconds and then switch back to
"max" pressure.
4.7 Turning the Gauge Off
1. Press the SELECT button two (2) times and
"OFF" will be displayed in the lower right of
the gauge.
2. Press the ENTER button and the gauge is
turned off.
4.8 Rotating the Gauge Face
The gauge face can be rotated 355 degrees.
IMPORTANT: Before rotating the gauge face see
Figure 1. The gauge face is connected to the gauge
on the backside with potted wires. Pulling the face off
with too much force can cause serious damage to
the gauge.
1. Carefully pull the gauge face directly off the front
being careful not to pull the potted wires from the
face (see Figure 1).
2. Rotate face to desired position being careful not
to damage any wires or parts of the gauge and
replace gauge face.
5.0 BATTERY LIFE AND MAINTENANCE
The battery life of the gauge is 180 hours in PEAK
mode, (at continuous operation), and 1400 hours
under normal measuring mode.
5.1 Changing or adding a Battery
The gauge face will need to be removed to change
the battery.
IMPORTANT: Before removing gauge face see Figure
1. The gauge face is connected to the gauge on the
backside with potted wires. Pulling the face off with
too much force can cause serious damage to the
gauge.
To change the battery follow these steps:
1. Carefully pull the gauge face directly off the front
being careful not to pull the potted wires from the
face (see Figure 1).
2. Carefully open the battery compartment with a
small coin turning counter-clockwise (see Figure 2).
3. Replace battery with type CR2430 3-volt battery.
4. Replace battery cover and gauge face.
