Support mounting recommendations
Cleaning
Before installation, clean the components by removing any sand and other debris.
Care with the installation of the support
All clamps are aluminum, so excessive torque can result in the deformation of the thread fillets between the
screw and the nut. To avoid this, we recommend that you follow the instructions below:
1. Apply the torque perpendicular to the axis of the threaded screw, never inclined;
2. In the tightening process, apply a uniform force and do not exceed the prescribed torque value, as it may
damage the surface of the mounting components or screw head.
Positioning and angulation of the stand
To optimize the average energy production during the year it is necessary to position the support by
observing the following points:
1. Install the Thebe Panel Support in locations in the Southern Hemisphere, guiding the position of the panels
to the Geographic North and vice versa;
2. Adjust the angle of inclination of the panel in relation to the ground following these steps:
2.1. Find the latitude of the installation site. Use the following map of Brazil to get this information;
2.2. Depending on each Geographic Latitude there is a rule for calculating the best angle of inclination of the
support. Use the following table to know the specific calculation for your location and thus arrive at the value
of the angle to be used;
2.3. Never use tilt angles smaller than 10°, as dirt and water will accumulate.
