Always stop the engine when a cutting attachment jam occurs. Do not attempt to remove an object causing a jam if the
engine is running. Severe injury can occur if a jam is removed and the cutting attachment suddenly starts.

just straps so the quick release pin rests just below
the waist.

Never attempt to operate the product with one hand.
Ensure that you hook your thumbs around the grips, wrapping
them in your thumb and remaining fingers.
Always mount the trimmer correctly using the shoulder har-
ness.
The shoulder harness is fitted with an emergency release
function. In the event of a fire or other emergency, pull the
quick release pin up to release the product from your body.
Buckle waist belt. Belt should be snug.
Attach product to harness.
Check for correct adjustment by moving cutting attachment along
ground.
Re-adjust position of suspension point if necessary.
