Clean the cast iron plate thoroughly prior to first use. Do not submerge in water. Warm up the cast iron plate
for 3 minutes. Unplug the unit, then use warm, soapy water to clean. Dry completely. After cleaning, the Crepe
Griddle is ready to operate.
Operation
Plug in the unit and the red light will turn on. Allow the cooking surface to warm up for about 5 minutes.
Turn the thermostat dial to the desired setting and cook. The green light will switch off once temperature is
reached. General cooking temperature is between 180°C and 200°C. When not cooking, Turn the thermostat
dial to "OFF" position and unplug the unit.
Maintenance
The Crepe Griddle should be cleaned using warm, soapy water after each day's operation. Do not submerge in
water. For cleaning cast iron plate, please use warm soapy water. Do not use cold water on warm plate. After
cleaning, be sure the trays are dried completely before putting them back on the unit. Do not immerse in water
to clean. The appliance is not to be cleaned with a pressurized water jet.
Troubleshooting
If the Crepe Griddle does not work, please check the following:
1. The power supply is correct and the red light is on.
2. The thermostat is set correctly.
