• When removing the HDD from the mobile rack, pay attention to the HDD, which
could have a high temperature.
Hardware Installation
1. Turn off your PC and unplug the power cord.
2. Open the housing.
3.
Remove the panel from the available 5.25" bay.
4.
Insert the mobile rack into the bay and screw it to the housing.
5. Connect the USB pin header cable to a free 19 pin USB 5 Gbps pin header.
6. Connect the SATA data cable to the mobile rack and to the free ports of your
computer.
7.
Connect either a SATA power cable of your PC power supply to the power
connector of the mobile rack, which is placed on the green PCB or connect
the included SATA power cable to the green PCB and connect the Molex
interface to the PC power supply.
8. Reattach the housing and connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
Installation
1.
With the key you can open each bay of the mobile rack. Turn it 90°
clockwise.
2. Pull the switch to open the mobile rack and insert your 2.5" or 3.5" HDD into
the respective bay of the mobile rack.
3. Switch on your computer.
4.
The hard disk drives will be found automatically and the device can be used
immediately.
