Important information

Do not use the defibrillator to shock the PACER or ECG terminals.

When connecting to the DEFIB terminals, 4mm shrouded non-stackable plugs must
be used.
!
The DEFIB terminals (red and black) are rated to 5kV/100A/600J MAX.
!
The PACER terminals (yellow) are rated to 275V MAX.
!
The UniPulse 400 is designed for use by adequately trained technical personnel only.
!
No unauthorised user modifications of the instrument.
!
Do not use the instrument in an application beyond the published specifications.
!
Use extreme caution when working with voltages greater than 30 Volts, for example
a DEFIB shock.
!
No user serviceable parts.
!
Do not use the Uni-Pulse 400 with the 18V PSU attached unless it is connected
directly to mains power.
Where safe operation of the Uni-Pulse is no longer possible it should be immediately
!
shut down and secured to prevent accidental operation. It must be assumed that safe
operation is no longer possible:
-
if the instrument or leads show any sign of damage or
-
the instrument does not function or
-
after long periods of storage under adverse environmental conditions or
-
do not use the UniPulse 400 in wet conditions or surrounded in explosive
gases or dust.

The UniPulse 400 is designed to analyse Defibrillators, Automated External
Defibrillators (AED's) and Pacers, and allows Electrocardiogram (ECG) simulation.
