21. Before operation, make sure that there is no
buried object such as electric pipe, w ater pipe
or gas pipe in the w orkpiece. Otherwise, it may

22. If a blotter is attached to the w heel, do not
remove it. The diameter of the blotter must be
larger than the lock nut, outer ange, and inner
ange.

check that the blotter part does not have any
abnormalities such as chips or cracks.
2 4 . Tighten the lock nut properly. O v e r t i g h t e n i n g
the wheel can cause breakage and insu cient
tightening can cause fluttering.

Tool protection system
The tool is equipped with a tool protection system. This
system automatically reduces or cuts o power to the
motor to extend tool life. The tool will automatically
r e d u c e p o w e r o r s t o p d u r i n g o p e r a t i o n i f t h e t o o l i s
placed under one of the following conditions:
Overload protection
W h e n t h e t o o l i s o p e r a t e d i n a m a n n e r t h a t c a u s e s i t
to draw an abnormally high current, the tool reduces
power automatically without any indication. In this
s i t u a t i o n , r e m o v e t h e c a u s e o f t h e o v e r l o a d s o t h a t t h e
r o t a t i o n s p e e d r e c o v e r e d .

turned only as far as 5 and back to 1. Do not force
it past 5 or 1, or the speed adjusting function may

The rotating speed can be changed by turning the
speed adjusting dial to a given number setting from 1 to
