COMPONENTS
1
Output square drive
2
Socket wrench release button
3
Ratchet switch lever
SETTING (Example 1.9 Nm)
Unlock the setting wheel (6) by pulling it backwards. The torque
wrench can be set as follows using the example value (1.9 Nm).
The scale behind the viewing window (4) is used for setting the
integer values (1 Nm, 2 Nm, 3 Nm, etc.).
Digits after decimal point can be set in increments of 0.1 Nm
using the scale (5) at the setting wheel.
For our example 1.9 Nm, the line for the value 2 must set before
the red line in the viewing window and the 0.9 Nm graduation line
must be set to the opposite of the reference mark.
After the setting has been made, lock the setting wheel (6) by
pressing it in.
USE
1. Install the appropriate socket wrench and place it on the nut/bolt.
2. Now turn the screw by operating the handle until you hear/feel a "click".
3. Stop tightening the fitting immediately after you hear/feel a "click".
4. Pay special attention to the clicking sound at low tightening torques, as this sound is very small
and can therefore easily be overheard.
5. Adjust the torque wrench to the lowest tightening torque after use.
6. Never turn the setting wheel below the lowest torque value.
7. Do not turn the setting wheel to set the torque wrench when it is locked.
MAINTENANCE
The torque wrench must be checked or calibrated regularly, to guarantee proper function.
Clean the torque wrench with a dry and soft cloth only.
Never dip the torque wrench into a liquid.
