CARE OF BLADES
Blades become dull even from cutting regular
lumber. If you find yourself forcing the saw
forward to cut instead of just guiding it through
the cut, chances are the blade is dull or coated
with wood pitch.
FOR MODEL SPT77WML-72 ONLY 20 AMP, 125 VOLT "TWIST LOCK"
The Model SPT77WML-72 is equipped with a
"Twist Lock" male connector as shown (Fig. 16).
Use only a 3-wire extension cord which has a
mating "Twist Lock" female connector on one
end and a 3-prong grounding plug on the other
end. (See Electrical Safety section on page 2 for
grounding information.)
If an extension cord is

necessary, a cord with
adequate size conductors that is capable
of carrying the current necessary for your
tool must be used. This will prevent
excessive voltage drop, loss of power or
overheating. Grounded tools must use 3-wire
extension cords that have 3-prong plugs and
receptacles.
NOTE: The smaller the gauge number, the
heavier the cord.
