Disposal
Most of the materials from which Hilti tools and appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The
materials must be correctly separated before they can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools,
machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service or your Hilti representative
for further information.

Action to be taken
▶ Empty the dust extractor.
▶ Replace suction head and/or
bellows gaiter.
▶ Clean the suction channel.
▶ Use a shorter accessory tool or
a longer suction head.
▶ Push suction hose of the dust
extractor fully into the base unit.
▶ Remove the drilled core and
drilling fines.
▶ Use only Hilti percussion core
bits.
▶ Install dust module in ac-
cordance with the operating
instructions. Base unit must
be installed in the intended
position.
▶ Use a cloth to wipe oil and
grease off the base unit and
the outside surfaces of the tool
neck.
▶ Tighten auxiliary handle.
▶ Replace auxiliary handle.
▶ Install adapter.
▶ Loosen auxiliary handle further
to open the clamping band
further.
▶ Replace bellows gaiter.
