6.2 First use
First cleaning

Clean the appliance before using it for the first time (see Cleaning).
Connecting the appliance


Make sure that voltage and frequency of mains match values specified on type plate.

Connect the mains cable exclusively to a socket with a protective earth conductor.

Do not use an extension cord or a multiple-socket adapter to connect the appliance.

Make sure that the mains cable is not damaged.
When connecting the appliance to a socket without a protective earth conductor:

Have the appliance connected by qualified personnel.
When connecting the appliance directly to the mains:

Have the appliance connected by qualified personnel.

Plug mains plug into socket.
The appliance is connected.
6.3 Operation
Control elements and indicators

The control elements serve to control the appliance.

Switching on

Press switch 1/0 (1).
Switching off

Put the appliance into the wall holder or press switch 1/0 (0).
The appliance is switched off.


