Safety instructions
1. Take the time to read all safety instructions and refer to the user manual.
2. This unit complies with strict safety rules and regulations.
3. Given the diversity of standards, if this unit is used in a country other than where it
was purchased, have it checked by an authorized customer service center.
4. This unit may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with li-
mited physical, sensorial and mental capacity, or with lack of experience or
knowledge if they have supervision or prior instruction as to the safe use of
this device and the associated risks. Children should not play with this device.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children, unless they
are older than 8 and are supervised.
5. Keep this appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children younger
than 8 years old.
6. Do not move the appliance while in use.
7. This appliance is not intended to be installed. Place your oven on a stable work
surface or on a kitchen unit that supports temperatures of at least 90ºC. Allow a free
flow of air to circulate around your appliance.
8. Allow a minimum distance of at least 2cm between food and the top of the appliance.
9. It is typical to have a small amount of smoke or odors of "newness" emerge when
you use your appliance for the first time. This is very normal and disappears quickly.
10. We advise you to use your appliance for the first time while empty (without the grill),
setting the thermostat to +/- 230ºC for about 15-20 minutes.
11. Check to see that the voltage corresponds to that indicated on the device. (AC only.)
12. Do not use your oven if it has been dropped and shows visible signs of damage or
if it malfunctions. In this case, the appliance must be sent to the nearest authorized
after-sales service center in order to avoid any danger.
13. If the power cord is defective or damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, the after-sales service center or someone who is similarly qualified in
order to avoid any danger.
14. Make sure that your electrical current is able to supply sufficient power to this ap-
pliance.
15. Always plug the device into a grounded outlet.
16. Do not allow the power cord to hang over or touch the hot parts of the oven.
17. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord. Always unplug the oven by hol-
ding onto the plug itself.
18. Only use an extension cord in good condition, with a plug that is grounded, and with
a cord whose diameter is the same as that of the cord that came with the product.
19. Unplug the power cord from the power supply before any maintenance cleaning or
accessory installation.
20. To avoid electric shock, do not submerge the cord, the plug, or the appliance in wa-
ter or any other liquid.
21. The temperature of exposed surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.
22. Never immerse the appliance in water, or any other liquid, to clean it.
23. Do not place the appliance near any heat source, (a gas burner, for example), or near
