15. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.

Remedy
Check the socket, mains cable, cable, mains plug;
have these repaired by a qualified electrician if
necessary.
Check the main fuse
Repair by customer service department
Connect the earth clamp to the welding machine
Fit the earth clamp on the workpiece
Tighten the hose assembly
Make sure that the area where the earth clamp is
attached is clean, bare metal, free from dirt, paint and
oil.
Allow the machine to cool down
Reduce the duty cycle or the current setting
Check the connections and clean them
Connect with correct polarity
Clean the workpiece thoroughly until the surface is
bare metal and free of dirt and paint.
