Most organic materials and painted / oxidized surfaces have an emissivity of 0.95
(default on the thermometer), however, measurements on shiny or polished
surfaces may be inaccurate; It is recommended to apply adhesive tape or apply
matt black paint on the surface or adjust the emissivity to compensate for this.
